I took the D.O.C. exam yesterday, March 19th, at the Washington Irving School in Roslindale, and was wondering what everyone's thoughts on the exam were. Frankly, only one part of the test I found challenging. Looking at what showed up to take the exam I wasnt very impressed either. I thought the fire test was bad!!!

Ya that sounds about right for the DOC!! With the DOC's new vision statement you probably saw a few in prison scrubs taking the test too!! LOL

I too took the DOC exam on Saturday in Fall River.

The test was somewhat easy except for a few tricky questions about
percentages etc.... the graphs......

how long before you hear something????

saying that they want to hire 150 sgts and 50 Lts. We could see approximately 300 over the next year and a half. We also have completed the hiring from the last test. I know they want to start an academy of 100 this summer. So in my PROFESSIONAL opinion. May but thats a guess an educated one.

the police exam is the same way, half the people that show up are scum.
