Gil,

I just noticed a typo in something I had posted today (ieSpell didn't correct it). The forum says that I CAN edit my posts, but there is NO "edit" button to click on for the post.

What's the scoop?

Thanks.

Hmm, I see the edit button for this post (original)!

Where I can NOT see the edit button is the "Thin Blue Line" thread (my post is #92) in the "Just Shootin' the Breeze" forum.

You may have a problem with this one Gil.
You can edit your posts untill someone else posts.
If I remember corectly ther was something about this
on the group board that I sent you.

Gil,

Thanks!

Now I don't see the Edit button on my prior posts in this thread either.

That gives me a clue about the reason. I recall one forum that I use that the software is setup to ONLY allow you to edit a post within 1 hour of posting. After that it is cast in stone, unless you have Mod privs. Personally I don't like that idea at all and unless the intent is to leave an evidence trail for subpoenas, I see no need to have that sort of restriction on a forum!
