Dubai court jails pair for alleged steamy session in back of taxi

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - A Dubai court has sentenced an Irish man and British woman to three months in jail for an intimate tryst in the back of a taxi.
The sentence Thursday is the latest case of Westerners running afoul of the social codes in the United Arab Emirates, which maintains strict laws on sex-related issues although it often turns a blind eye.

If a quickie gets you jail time, I would guess it's a safe bet those taxis are far cleaner than ANY in this country since it's no doubt an extremely rare occurrance. Not sure how rare it is here.

True... but I wouldn't do it in a taxi here either. Taxis see more action than police cruisers, sooooo... ew.

I'm thinking more people puke than have sex in taxis...but seeing how alcohol is probably illegal as well, you are probably right.
