DOC Having another class?
I heard from a reliable source that the DOC is hiring another 75 guys for an academy real soon. Anyone hear able to verify this? I was told the cards are going out within a week. Here is another question hopefully someone can answer. I went through the PT, MED and Physc Tests back in September and passed all of them. I didn't get called cause they didn't go far enough down on the list, is this stuff that I passed still valid?

What did you guy's think of the exam today?

Cadet01, It wouldn't surprise me that less people took the test this time because of the recent bad publicity that has been generated.
Has anyone heard anything on when they are going to be interviewing? I signed the card a few weeks ago and have not heard anything :? .

I received a letter last Friday. They want me to report June 1st for the PAT and interview. The letter states to report in gym gear but to bring shower supplies and business clothes to change into. :roll:
That is a pain in the neck. But it does save you a trip or two up to Shirley.
Good luck to those of you going to Shirley tomorrow. I got my letter to go but have decided not go. This would be the third time for me and I am no longer intrested in the job. Let me know how you guys make out. 
I'm actually thinking the same. For them to put everybody through the tests last time, tell them the results are good for six months then of course ask for mor people in 7 MONTHS! :x
I know. I took the test a few years ago. The money is good but after being a street cop, I don't think I'll like being locked down with the cons.
I understand where you are coming from. But the way I see it is you get some time in as a block officer and then transfer into something else. There are quite a few areas you can get into once you are in the D.O.C.
