Please keep on topic. The last few posts under the National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Topic have been deleted. Please post things on chairs and seats here.

Thanks

Don't worry...I just did the same thing...although my chair isn't that great... I guess its us student dispatchers that get the run around...

We just "upgraded" to $900.00 chairs in our center... they are ok, but for $900 I wish they had some sort of cup holder and/or massage system! They are not dispatch-specific chairs, just fancy office ones.

If I find a link to the model, I will post it; I am fairly certain they were ordered from W.B. Mason.

I personally think there are much better ways to spend $900, but that's probably why I am not in charge...

I had a Concept chair at my last job. I was not impressed. I guesss it it ok if you are not WIDE in your middle. I hated the fact that the head reat pad kept popping off. In SOuth Hadley we have a nice Chair (not sure who made it). I can fit my fat butt into it with room to spare. Just feels more comfortable after 8 hours.

I hear that Tempurpedic (you know that realy cool but pricey foam memory bed) has chairs that are made of the same stff as that bed. That would be great

OK I know I am going a bit off topic but let me know why you do not like Tempur-pedic? I ask for two reasons. I am looking at the chair for work and I was looking into the bed for home.

If you were talking to me I like them from Brookstone! That was meant like a Homer Simposon drooling over a doughnut comment

Hey Truthseeker,

Hear you got another new-old chair. This unit donated by your friendly neighborhood R.N. Hope you like it!

Watch the very slight list to starboard!
