I'm sure everyone has that person at work that knows EVERYTHING, has done EVERYTHING and is generally an overall A-Hole. How the hell do you get along with this person? Especially if they are incapable of being a half-way decent human being?? Of all the years I worked in this type of field, I've never taken my work home with me. Lately, it seems that when I get home, I'm metally drained from listening to this person who just NEVER shuts the F*&% up!!!

Be polite whenever having to deal with the citizen...but avoid them when you can. Be non-committal and neutral...give them no ammo.
I work with the king of all A-holes (no, not mozzy). If I call out sick, i'm sticking it to him. If I take vacation, i'm sticking it to him. If I have to take my kids to the doctors, I'm sticking it to him. Problem is, he's the type of guy that if you just ignore him, he just gets worse.
Pre-empt him: Sorry, I was going to take that week off, but it would have "stuck-it" to so-in-so...so I took the other week off to "stick-it" to you, 'cause your, like, my favorite person to "stick-it" too...aside from "the man", that is. </IMG>
