Has anyone played around with one of Beretta's new Cx4 Storm carbines? I know it can be 9mm .40 and .45ACP.

Looks like a fun weapon. Let me know if you know anything about this, I am thinking about picking one up.

Thanks,

Yeah Great!

Just what we need..................
Another sexy-looking carbine in pistol calibers. Sorry, I'll stick with the M4 in 5.56 instead of the flavor-of-the-week crap. And if you absolutely must have one........................

Show some cajones and brains and get an M1927 Thompson ya fruits!

I've handled them at my local gun store, and the fit and finish seem excellent, but I have to go with MPD61 on this one; if you're going to carry something the size of a RIFLE, have a RIFLE-sized cartridge. This gadget is kind of like a screen door on a submarine.....

If for your personal use I would suggest against it.They are pretty good guns and from a department standpoint they work well if you have the companion sidearms.

They are really designed to be fairly rugged, easy to maintain (read: no armorer), support carbines. The real benefit is the use of an existing magazine system that gives them decent capacity and interchangeability with your sidearm magazines.

FET out price is something like $429, FET in is about $499 with a spare preban magazine
