in the part of the state I worked in you were paid by the city/town the detail was in. they in return get the the money from the school dept., DPW, Utility, ETC that requesed the officer for the detail.

Lasell College Officers are warranted as SSPOs and deputized as Middlesex County Deputy Sheriffs. Officers occassionally get called to fill Newton details. Lasell bills the company at the same rate that Newton does. Lasell handles the paper work and the officer only gets paid once per month for details.
