Where does MSP take arrestees? Are there holding areas at the barracks, and then they get transported somewhere else? And does it differ by region/barracks/county/city?

Just curious and this board has been kind of lame lately. Feel free to elaborate, flame, say "this topic has been discussed already in another thread", and etc.

I guess my question was too specific for the MSP. Since I'm new to LE (77th RTT in Nov) I don't know the P/P for each agency here in MA.
