HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut state police say they've arrested more than 1,500 people since Saturday as troopers ramped up enforcement for the New Year's holiday weekend. The arrests as of 10 a.m. today include 708 hazardous moving arrests, 683 speeding arrests, 128 seatbelt arrests and 55 arrests for driving under the influence.
