Does any dept. out there have the new crash report in word doc format? I have the PDF but I am looking for one you can edit in word.

Thanks

There are programs out there that purport to allow you to edit pdf documents. However, there effectiveness is sketchy at best, and they are mucho expensive.

Sorta, some of the information can be typed in but some of the information blocks are not setup that way.

Can you use the PDF or word. I always fill ou my crash report at the scene and give the copies to both parties. Will the RMV accept the WORD or PDF?
Where can I get the word or PDF crash reports. I would like to try it out.

Gil, the one on the RMV site is the operator report, not the police. Is there one for police as well?

I feel bad for you guys. Thank god I don't have to fill out these new accident reports. I remember this section of the academy class being more complicated than my college chemistry course! The new report although it provides alot more information to investigators and mass highway engineers, violates the KISS (keep it simple stupid rule).
