anyone else get the call and making the trip??

Me either.....and from what I understand, people were actually turning these jobs down!

Calls were still being made as of later last week....

 

I heard that 15 minorities were being hired and that even the politically connected people got shut out. Anyone else hear this?

 

Nope, I didn't hear that...from what I understand, they put on between 90-120 state wide....

90-120 state wide is A LOT.

 

yah no kidding......... wow, that is alot. Good Luck to anyone who got a letter. maybe my buddy's "connection" just wanted him to feel better about not getting selected.

 

sounds like the "connection" didn't have the "connection" he might have told your buddy he did, huh?

Who knows, he might still get called....as I stated earlier, people were actually turning these jobs down....
