A pair of local teenagers face charges including armed robbery and larceny after police say one of the teens shot a convenience store clerk with a pellet gun Friday night.
According to police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old tried to rob the Tesoro Supermarket at 80 Hollis St. at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.
During the robbery, the 14-year-old reportedly shot a clerk in the face with a pellet gun, said Shastany.
Five officers responded to the clerk's call to police, he said. The condition of the clerk was not known yesterday afternoon.
About an hour later, police arrested two teens at the corner of Arlington and Gordon streets, said Shastany. Both teenagers are from Framingham and face charges of armed robbery of a convenience store with a gun, larceny shoplifting, disorderly conduct, he said.
The 14-year-old also faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of marijuana, Shastany said. Police withheld the names of the teenagers because of their ages.
