Is anyone haveing problems with these people? What there doing is getting bused from community to community I guess from some where in the south---they all have deep accents. Thier"job" I guess is to sell magazine subscribtion for college money and get "communication" points.

3 weeks ago my father was cooking in the kitchen and I was in the liveing room and I heard the kitchen door just open and some guy just walked in. My father says who the F are you get out of here. So I run around to the front and stop him out side. He claimed to be selling subscription to the Boston Globe,he claimed that if I gave him $20 cash I would automaticly get a reduced subscriton. He had a stack of yesterdays papers in his hand, yet no forms for this and wanted cash. I told him to leave immediatly and called the PD because his story was about as shakey as a 3 dollar bill. They must of got back in there bus with there group cause I live near the end of a penisula and this guy and his female partner were walking toward the water and running out room to go because 4 cruisers shows up very fast and failed to find anyone.

Last year there were two Jamican men with some sort of "Charity".......It litteraly just said "Charity" on the side of thier bucket! For two weeks they would walk around a very busy intersection and cause delys by running around the street.

And last night in Wal-Mart some guy walks up to me while I was getting some camping stuff and gives me the same "Communication points" story and hands me a list of magazines I can subscribe too if I give him $30 cash. The list he showed me was ripped out of a READERS DIGEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him I was not interested as I noticed the lovely track marks on his arm and he left. About 10 minutes later in automotive he walks up to me again and continues to pressure me. I told the kid to screw and went and told a guy at the sporting goods counter what this bone head was doing to other customers and me. Security caught up with him and escorted him off the property.

Im not so much against door to door salesmen, but to me its soo obviois its not legit. If it was one person thats different but this seems to be a like its an organized scam. But anyway enough of me babbeling, have any of you been getting this type of stuff in the summer? Anyone know what thier story is? I see them all over the Northshore in other towns.

These idiots are a major pain in the ass!! I have dealt with them to many times already this summer, residents calling with similar stories as you already mentioned. They never seek a permit and just drop of 15 felons at various location throughout the city and pick them up a few hours later.

All seem to be from parts south and out west. They get into your house by asking you to grade them on their communication skills (what ever!) Then they try to con you into subscriptions. I have had a few actually give them personal information then change their mind and they want the paper containing their information and theses shit birds refuse and run from the house.

If you can just follow one of them and wait for the pickup bus (out of state plates for sure) you are bound to get at least two NCIC hits out of the bunch on board. I find any reason I can to lock em up or at the least write em up and make them feel as uncomfortable as possible. They are nothing but a bunch of 2 bit losers as far as I am concerned. :x

There have been numerous solicitor complaints across the North Shore as well. I guess going door to door is becoming more of a common practice since most people now have unlisted phone numbers, are on the do-not-call list, or do not answer the phone for telemarketers.

Ironically I just read this story tonight and earlier this afternoon a salesman type person came to the door inquiring about who was in charge of the kids education. It looked like he was selling magazines or some type of etc.... The only reason I answered the door is I saw the UPS truck out side so I thought it was a delivery but needless to say the UPS guy was delivering to a neighbor across the street! Holy shit I really don't like this trend/scam next time they will be steering down my Sig P229, kidding of course but folks be careful. I really don't like this legitimate or not. PS I live in the south shore area
