Its a bit reverse of your question, but didn't Civilian PO's train at the US Army MP School a while ago? I had the occassion to contact the school and was tod that the program was cut. Anyone know why? Anyone know where Civilian POs might be able to get military training of some sort?

I'd Say start with your local military installation or guard/reserve unit, I know we have had the sheriffs office train at our squadron, so I don't see why they would turn away civ officers. I know Hanscom AFB has done training with local/state... Best thing to do would be talk to the Unit Training Advisor and see what they have available...
