Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Shore Road and Maplewood Drive at about 1:20 a.m., according to police.
The initial investigation led officers to believe the motorcyclist was traveling north on Maplewood Drive and struck a stone wall after failing to stop at the intersection.
The unidentified 25-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
