Campus Police Officer, Umass Medical Center

Conducts security patrols. Performs traffic duties. Conducts investigations. Makes lawful arrests in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws and Hospital Policy. Provides court testimony if necessary.

Position Qualifications:
Equivalent to high school education plus addition specialized courses. Minimum of three years of prior security/police experience required. Must have good communication skills and be able to deal with the general public. Must also be able to work under sometimes-stressful conditions and maintain a calm composure.

Officers must stay current under MGL CH 22C SEC 23. First Responder, CPR, Drivers License, OCAT and inservice classes required.

3-5 years law enforcement experience.
