Police arrested a Florida man on drug and weapons charges after stopping him for traffic violations.
Bryan M. Narbonne, 23, of Naples, Fla., was driving on Elm Street Wednesday night when he allegedly cut off a police officer in an unmarked car.
Police said Narbonne then crossed over the center line several times, drove too close to a car in front of him and then tailgated a second vehicle after the first vehicle turned onto a side street.
After stopping Narbonne, officers spotted him trying to hide something in his pants.
While officers were questioning Narbonne, he gave them a pipe used for smoking marijuana, police said.
During a search of Narbonne, officers found he had a key attached to a small container.
Inside the container, the officers found 24 pills. Two additional pills were found in Narbonne's pocket.
Police also discovered two more pills, numerous plastic baggies commonly used to package drugs and an automatic switchblade knife in Narbonne's car.
The pills were later identified as Morphine, Alprazolam, Clonazepam and Suboxone.
Narbonne was charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class E substance and possession of a dangerous weapon.
