I just went to the MSP vs. Worcester. There were many good fights. They were raising money for the Worcester boy's and gir's club. A total of $75,000 was donated.

The MSP boxing team does it ALL the time; they always fight for charity. They have teamed up with Springfield PD and a host of other PD's to do it many times.

I was wondering what all of that Jack Ass's "buddies" think of him going to various Internal Affairs to file false and harrassing complaints against Police Officers? Do they condone it? Or is he paying them too much money to be his friend, so they don't care? Inter-Departmental squabbles aside, going to IA and filing complaints to harrass another cop is WAY over the line. Talk about wasting the time of a department, spending their time having to investigate that kind of garbage because they HAVE to, not because it has ANY merit.

Any of you who are his "snitches", think long and hard about the kind of individual you have associated yourself with.

I HIGHLY doubt it. He lacks basic grammar, spelling and sentence structure skills. I wouldn't think he could pass basic english, let alone Law classes.

The thread seemed to be taking on a topic so it was split. Please continue to post your thoughts on the subject of folks that purposely file false complaints with the sole purpose to cause someone a little grief.

It is no secret that Hunter is the one I am referring to. I could care less if he chooses to file a hundred false complaints. I as other members of this board have done nothing wrong that would warrant such actions as he has chosen to take.

I just don't know if the word "rat" applies. To me, a "rat" is a guy who catches others doing something wrong or quasi-wrong, and tells on them to management. It seems In this case, NOT ONE of the accused was doing anything wrong, and someone who is possibly emotionally disturbed as well as overcome with extreme jealousy filed complaints with the sole intent of harrassment. Also, the term "rat" is usually associated with a member of law enforcement telling on another member of law enforcement. This person is NOT a Law Enforcement officer despite what he may believe, so there is another strike on the "rat" count. Honestly, imagine you are a Lt or Capt in a department, have 15-20 years as a police officer, and you have do an investigation for a guy who is complaining because he was "kicked off" a WEBSITE?? Talk about waste of resources. And society being the way it is, you HAVE to do this RIDICULOUS investigation, or face MORE accusations from a guy who obviously has issues to begin with??

I also agree with the non-rat theory, so what do you call someone who goes to such lengths to file false reports? There are the obvious but I don't want to flood the topic with a bunch of profanity.

I have not even viewed my departments complaint form, I wonder if there is fine print stating "signed under the pains of perjury" or words to that effect?

Yes you can sue due to stress that he induced on you, your family and your job. I would seriously speak to an attorney and make sure you get compensated. And you might just drive his Mercedes with blue lights!!

I am not aware of what complaints were made, or against whom, but if they were made and were baseless, get him! Your union should immediately file a libel suit (if it was directed to you and not opinion, that was in writing to others). Of course, there are other elements to this, but your union attorney should be well versed in this area. I'm all for accountability, but not at the expense of someone's agenda.

This is coming from an ex-cop (hopefully to be reinstated...really soon), and a law student. Tort law is always taken in your first year, and this was one area that was drilled in our head. If the person you're referring to is a law student, then write to the Bar Association and see if he/she is allowed to ever take the Bar Exam...
