WORCESTER- Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Grafton Suburban Credit Union branch this morning at 9:30.
The robber showed a teller a large black handgun and fled in a silver SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The man also told bank employees that he had left a bomb on the premises, but a search found no explosive device.
The suspect was described by witnesses as white, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and wearing a mask or bandana over his face. He carried a black duffel bag and was wearing sweatpants.
