if you have a payment plan set up with the state they might not make a big deal of it. i made the mistake of taking unemployment one winter after being laid off and the Feds had just started charging taxes for it. seemed bizarre that i had no job , but somehow i was going to have to pay back the taxes on my unemployment benefits. they screwed with me until i paid them back and then turned me over to the state and they got their pound of flesh too. maybe the guy doing the background has been through the meat grinder with the tax man. in that case "he'll feel your pain" good luck </IMG>
