That's right Woodrow! That was F*%(&ng cold up there kids! This temp w/constant and unrelenting winds! I'm not whining though-this TDY was a piece of cake compared to the others in the big sandbox. Not to toot my own horn-but we showed the Active Duty boys what an Eagle SHOULD fly like. They loved our jets......In all truthfulness though, I'm glad to back home on the road w/my new '05 C/V 8)

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING TO SUNDAY
MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON MA HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH.

A NOREASTER LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY MORNING THREATENS TO BRING
OCCASIONALLY HEAVY BUT POWDERY SNOW TO MUCH OF THE INTERSTATE 95
CORRIDOR...INCLUDING BOSTON AND PROVIDENCE.

THERE IS STILL OPPORTUNITY FOR THE BRUNT OF THE STORM TO MISS TO THE
SOUTHEAST...BUT THIS DOES NOT APPEAR LIKELY AT THIS TIME.

IF THE STORM BECOMES IMMINENT...WARNINGS WOULD BE ISSUED.

SNOW WILL BEGIN SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE
ISLAND...POSSIBLY PRECEDED BY OCEAN EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS DURING MIDDAY
SATURDAY ALONG THE IMMEDIATE EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS COAST.

THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL DURING SATURDAY NIGHT AND THEN TAPER TO
FLURRIES SUNDAY MORNING. IT WILL BE A COLD STORM WITH TEMPERATURES
HOLDING IN THE TEENS OR LOWER 20S. ASSUMING THERE IS MORE THAN 4
INCHES OF SNOW...WHICH HAS A HIGH LIKELIHOOD...THERE WILL BE
CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE SNOW SUNDAY MORNING WITH
WIND GUSTS OVER 40 MPH EXPECTED.

THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS LIKELY TO FALL IN RHODE ISLAND EASTWARD TO
PLYMOUTH COUNTY WITH OCEAN EFFECT AN ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTOR TO THE
AMOUNTS IN PLYMOUTH COUNTY. THIS MAY BECOME ONE OF THE MORE POWERFUL
STORMS OF THE WINTER FOR THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND COAST AND THE END
OF THE STORM MAY BE DELAYED TILL MIDDAY SUNDAY.

THOSE WHO HAVE TRAVEL PLANS TO NEW YORK CITY...PHILADELPHIA AND
POINTS WEST ALONG INTERSTATE 80 IN PENNSYLVANIA SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY
MORNING AS WELL AS TO THE ISLANDS...SHOULD CONSULT LATER FORECASTS
FOR WHAT COULD EVENTUALLY EVOLVE INTO A MAJOR SNOWSTORM ACROSS PARTS
OF COASTAL SOUTHEAST NEW ENGLAND.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE CONSIDERABLE TRAVEL DELAYS
SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING BOTH LAND...SEA AND AIR INCLUDED.
