Worked a Baystate Gas detail the other day and was talking to the subcontractor, who also does work in NH. They have flagmen, who he deplores working with. He said they are usually low paid bottom feeders, who get no respect from motorists, as well as his work crews. This gentleman was a foreman and said that the flagmen are a waste of money and are completely useless. He is 100% behind PO roadway details.....

Geez Dave-please speak your mind!!! I agree w/you. Another pet peeve-grungy ass orange rainjackets or regular length coats. I've seen more jackets smeared w/tar, grease, or looking like they've been peeled off the laundry ball with wrinkles....Or how about the old 400lb. retired specials w/the Wal-Mart velcro sneakers on....Looking for cans & bottles or talking to the contractors....DUH!
