FITCHBURG -- The Leominster woman arrested for allegedly committing an armed robbery at a Fitchburg bank Thursday is being held without bail until a December hearing, a Fitchburg District Court judge ordered Friday.
Samantha Sorenson, 29, of 566 Central St. No. 166, Leominster, already had two warrants for her arrest when police captured her Friday afternoon in Fitchburg, court records show.
According to Fitchburg District Court records, Sorenson had an arrest warrant stemming from another alleged store robbery from Oct. 7.
She had another warrant for allegedly failing to comply with the conditions of her release from a September prostitution charge, court records show.
According to police records, Sorenson was arrested Thursday on two in-town warrants, an out-of-town warrant and armed robbery.
According to court records, Sorenson allegedly entered Sovereign Bank on Main Street in Fitchburg on Thursday afternoon and handed a teller a note which read: "DO NOT MOVE! I AM ARMED! Give me all 100's + 20's + 10's. Everything in the drawer only. You have 30 seconds no dye packs or GPS. Cooperate and no one gets hurt."
Officer Steven Giannini reported in a police report that he recognized Sorenson in footage of the robbery.
Police later apprehended Sorenson, who allegedly had in her possession cash almost in the stolen amount, according to a police report. According to the police report, Sorenson allegedly confessed to Thursday's
robbery and another robbery earlier this week.

According to court records, Sorenson allegedly walked into South Street Variety Store, located at 288 South St., on Tuesday and handed the clerk a note saying she had a gun and that she wanted $3,000. The clerk gave her $560.
Sorenson was also arrested in September for prostitution charges, court records showed. She was released on personal recognizance bail and on the condition that she report each Wednesday to a court officer, records show.
A warrant was issued for her arrest on Tuesday because she did not comply with the pretrial conditions, according to the court records.
Sorenson was held without bail by Judge Peter McGill on Friday and is set to reappear in Fitchburg District Court on Dec. 5, 2008.
She will be held in MCI Framingham in the meantime, court records show. Sorenson has had nine separate cases in Fitchburg District Court since October 1998, according to other court records.
