BOSTON -- Massachusetts State Police are investigating an accident involving two tractor-trailers on the Massachusetts Turnpike Monday afternoon.

State police say one truck slammed into the other in the westbound lanes of the Pike near the Interstate 84 interchange in Sturbridge, Mass.

One person was taken to Worcester's UMass Memorial Medical Center by med-flight.

Two westbound lanes were closed. Drivers headed west can expect delays as crews work to remove the trucks.

Living near Sturbridge and commuting on the pike to Boston everyday, I can say there have been numerous MVA's along the stretch from I-84 to Auburn. Driving 140 miles round trip everyday I feel safe to say that section is where I HAVE seen the most MVA's over the 2 years of my commute. Any Troopers concur?
