I thought the new Mass DOC Academy was at the new SB correctional Facility in the Shirley area? Is that true? Quote from a PM sent by a Mass DOC Corrections Officer: "the academy is now 10 weeks, in Shirley, MA. Its not a live in academy Mon-Fri 8-4. Training is good and you get on the job training at some prisons in the state."

Any Mass DOC Officers able to clear this up for us?
