I know of 2 medical deferments... one of them can't wait to get back because he "loved it" 😳
Great kid... gave him two surgeon referrals. Hope he gets fixed up right!

You absolutely MUST have a pump - and NOT one that uses a cell phone. You can go to the infirmary for your insulin but there's no telling if you're going to have your meal on time, and that it will contain the correct amount of carbs.

They'll let you defer a class to take care of that but I know two diabetic troopers who'll tell you to just get the pump ahead of time.

Also - being that your medical situation will be common knowledge tis best to bear in mind this group enjoys members from agencies all over... including the MSP. 😉
