NEEDHAM (WBZ) ― Three young men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Panera Bread in Needham overnight.

Needham police said the masked men robbed the store on Highland Avenue shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday and then fled the scene in a stolen car.

Shortly after, police tracked down the car on Kendrick Street and arrested two of the suspects, 19-year-old Perckens Borde, of Roxbury, and 18-year-old Kermens Hylaire, of Brockton.

A third suspect, 18-year-old Herauld Laguerre, tried to elude police by fleeing on foot to a nearby wood area of Cutler Park. He was caught a few hours later on the railroad tracks near Route 128, police said.

All three men were charged with armed robbery while masked and carjacking.

They are scheduled to be arraigned in Dedham District Court Thursday.
