TUKWILA, Wash. (CBS) ― CBS affiliate KIRO-TV in Seattle reports that there is a "serious" shooting incident at a local mall Saturday.
Tukwila Police Department officials told KIRO that there were 2 victims in serious condition at local hospitals and that they are still looking for the gunman. Police were doing a store-to-store search and are not sure if the gunman has left the mall.
One man who says he works at the mall told KIRO that 2 people were shot and that he heard two gun shots.
An off-duty Washington State Patrol sergeant told the Associated Press that one victim underwent CPR after being hit inside the Southcenter Mall. The trooper says two people were put in handcuffs, according to AP.
Witnesses told AP they heard at least three shots fired near the mall's food court. The mall was evacuated as officers investigated and tried to determine whether a shooter was at large.
