Elvis, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., was last heard from in the early morning hours of Dec. 18, after the young woman went on a date. Her 2001 Dodge Intrepid was found abandoned the next day on the Peachtree Boat Landing in Socastee, Horry County.
Several law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshal's Office, descended early Friday on a Myrtle Beach residence, where a search warrant was served.
"The search warrant was executed in an attempt to identify potential evidence based on new information obtained through expert analysis of previously seized surveillance tapes in the area along with financial discrepancies filed with the State of South Carolina on behalf of the occupants of the residence," the Horry County Police Department said in a statement.
