I attended the three week Command School that used to be part of New Institute of Police Management at Babson and later in Brockton. They since moved and made the program shorter, in a two week class and i believe another one week additional advanced class. Be prepared to read alot, do homework, make a a final presentation and a tough test at the end. Great class though.
I recently took a college course with an instructor involved with that program at Roger Williams University. I had him for a business management class, but he also teaches CJ at RWU, is a recently retired federal agent, and a top notch instructor. He worked our asses off in the class, but you learned. If the program is anything like the way he teaches his courses, I would expect you would get a lot out of it and have good staff teaching.
