What are the advantages and disadvantages to a belt drop holster?
will it be much more uncomfortable sitting in the cruiser with the belt drop?

i dont know this first hand but my friend has the 1.5" drop and says its better for walking and speed of drawing but worse for sitting. not sure if that helps, good luck.
