The left has been given an inch and they’re taking 10,000 miles. They say the national anthem is racist, state seals are racist, sports teams are racist, statues are racist, the founding fathers were all racist, and just about any historical figure is racist and doesn’t deserve to be remembered for any of the massive world-changing positive contributions they made. It is now impossible to acknowledge the wrongs of slavery or other past injustices while still acknowledging and celebrating the great contributions to society and major advancements that people associated (often extremely minority or tangentially) with said injustices have made.

I'm still waiting for the cities of Cambridge, Somerville, Northampton and Amherst to disincorporate (or however it's spelled) and turn all the land over to the Native Americans from whom that land was stolen. If these people were truly sincere in their caring, that's exactly what I would expect them to do. Otherwise, they prove themselves to care, ONLY if it doesn't inconvenience them. Which is exactly what the case is. Democrats make demands, but offer nothing that they'll pay for.
