I'll go one further.... No cop should be even looking at any one doing 6 over unless that cop KNOWS that this person is likely to have contraband or is commiting committed or is likely to commit a crime. 6 over???? Life is too short for petty bull shit.
It's not just gigging her for six over, but the trooper's barracks are the town's back-up and they answer the calls in their town (probably on the last half). It's like giving someone on your own department, albeit another station house, a cite. Just doesn't happen unless there is an underlying purpose.

Hey since she only works 15 or so hours a week, maybe she "dances" the other time and that is the reason for the makeup.
