Two state troopers were assaulted and injured during a traffic stop in Andover on Friday night, State Police said.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Route 93 south, just south of Dascom Road, said State Police spokesman David Procopio, in a statement. Two suspects were taken into custody and brought to the State Police barracks in Andover in connection with the incident.
Both troopers were taken to Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence for treatment, the statement said. Procopio released no details on the troopers’ conditions or the extent of their injuries.

It's amazing to me that these knuckleheads and others like them in the Commonwealth and across the county actually attempt to fight with the police!!! Stupid is as Stupid does! But hey, their chances of getting some court appointed public defender or if they can afford their own attorney to plea the charges down are pretty good these days in the Ol Commonwealth!! Either way, I hope the troopers are okay and the two scumbags got a few bumps and bruises so they remember the next time, it's not wise to fight with the police!!

As I tell my adult kids - it is unwise to simply attract attention of the police - period!

    Speedy recovery to the Troopers.

Now, What I want to know, why wasn't these two shit bags transported to the hospital as well but with serious injuries?

Because it is NOT proper to give them the beat down they desperately deserve.

Sad part is........CWOF. Some Lib-Tard Judge will say that ABPO is an inherent "job risk" and police should expect it.

^Therein lies the problem. With the cell phone society there is no street justice which would be just fine if we could trust there to be justice through the legal system. With the constant stream of DISM and CWOF, there is no repercussions for these actions.

Troopers assaulted during Andover traffic stop

ANDOVER - State police say two troopers were assaulted and injured by two suspects during a traffic stop in Andover.
Spokesman David Procopio says the troopers stopped the vehicle around 9 p.m. Friday on Route 93 after determining that the operator’s license was suspended. He says the suspects, men ages 20 and 22, were also transporting fireworks and in possession of narcotics when they were stopped.
Procopio says one trooper suffered an eye injury during the assault and the other suffered a shoulder injury. Both were treated and released from Lawrence General Hospital.

Then so shouldn't a police beatdown be part of a criminals "inherent job risk"?

This is where "creative report writing" comes in handy.

"As I was guiding, supporting and directing the suspect to the ground in an attempt to safely take them into custody, their head bounced violently off of the concrete resulting in severe facial bruising and lacerations"

That worked a little better in the olden days before the proliferation of video cameras (i.e. in the "Pre-Rodney-King era" of police work); and of course, today, everything is likely to be captured on cell phone cameras..... I'm glad I am retired.

That's why nowadays, you have to be willing to take one for the team. Once that happens, it's balls to the wall until the cuffs are on. Just make sure you calculate maximum damage into your strikes.
