JACKSONVILLE, N.C.- Two Camp Lejeune Marines returned home early Sunday morning to find two men in their house. The intruders didn't make it out of the house alive.

33-year-old, Maurice Skinner and 33-year-old, Diego Everette were identified by police as the men killed in the burglary attempt. Both men are from Jacksonville.

Skinner and Everette were pronounced dead at the scene, but according to Jacksonville Police Chief, Mike Yaniero it is unlikely that anyone will be charged in the shooting.

"The investigation is ongoing, however at this time there is no evidence to suggest that criminal charges be filed."

Chief Yaniero says the department will increase their patrols in the neighborhood.

"We'll be in the neighborhood. We try to stay in those neighborhoods but we will be especially vigilant in that particular neighborhood in the next couple weeks."

Marine Corps officials have not released the names of the Marines who shot the intruders.

" And you know, I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this."
He added later: "You know, if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon."

Working for the Mich. Dept of Corrections I would like to thank these proud Marines for saving the tax payers of NC many hundreds of thousands of dollars in trial expenses and housing them in the NC Mens Club aka prison.

I'm proud I contributed to George Zimmerman's website before it was taken down. He and his wife are going to need a lot of money to survive this. In addition to legal expenses, he and probably she will be unable to work for more than a year, perhaps two. And they'll need security to protect their life. Please consider sending a small contribution to him in care of his lawyer. Thanks, Gunner

You know, it's really unfortunate...Those Marines are trained well, but they should have just escaped and evaded so that Diego and Maurice had a chance to just leave. What the heck those men were only there to commit larceny, that's why they were nice enough to wait until the house was empty. I bet those marines rushed in and escalated the situation and caused the unecessary deaths of those boys. Mr. Skinner and Mr. Everett were only 33 years old...Ahhh, wait, that's fifteen years into adulthood. On second thought:
THEY ASKED FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!
