    Nice things are not to be done by Troopers in public, therefore I have contacted this Trooper's supervisor to ensure he is reprimanded immediately.

    Dude! it was like something outta a movie. Poignant moment...
    In any event I think it was 175, might have been 125, but it was a gray unmarked and the trooper was a small package around my age. I'll never forget it.:cool:

    My old ambulance partner said he got chewed out for something similar when he worked for the state. Said the culture does not want "nice"

    Well you're SOL cuz the E troop dispatchers don't even know who's in what cruiser!

    (at least not when an emergency alarm goes off... )

    Not too many youngun's on the Pike... needa have seniority... though I do know one or three vertically challenged 30-40yr olds who recently made the trade to the retirement home...

    OK....
    I'll end the suspense. It's like something you only see in the movies;
    I'm at the sandwich counter at Dunkins and I feel this pat on my shoulder, and a sincere voice says; "Be safe out there buddy" and I turn to see this squared away older trooper gliding out the door and nodding at me as he leaves...

    Don't that bring a tear to everyones eye?o_O

    1) Lies. Troopers are well-versed on working their entire shift without exiting their cruisers. From getting coffee to getting the detail slipped, the 8hr block of instruction at the SPA covers all the bases of 8hrs in bluebirds without wasting any time on the feet. It's a fine-tuned skill, but surely by the time one gets seniority to get to E troop, the art has been perfected. :D
