Judging by his eyes, he's been drinking too. What a douche. I bet he'd be pissed if he came home and someone was in his spot. I compare it to this. I have a PEEVE for people who misuse HP placards. I've written a PLETHORA of 500 dollar greeting cards. People who I approach in my city and ask them to see their DL and placard are sometimes MORE rude when they are the actual placard holder. I nicely explain that if I WASN'T checking and THEY needed the spot, some asshole might be in it. They very quickly change their tune and apologize. Obviously anybody would be missed that their car got towed. Threats to shoot and kill ?????? I dunno. Hopefully they revoke his LTC.

Knowing QDC That will most likely be the extent of his punishment.

Obviously the guy went overboard with bringing his firearm to the party but having been in the same situation where some moron tow company didnt see my sticker and hooked my car I can understand the boiling anger. if indeed this guy had a sticker visible and the tow driver was just incompetent and hooked it I would lose my mind .. these tow truck companies are absolute scumbags..

    Idiot....call the police!!!

I've had numerous tow drivers drop vehicles when they were being towed mistakenly. Sometimes they want to be dicks about it, until I tell them that I'm going to arrest them for larceny of a motor vehicle if they don't drop it.

If a tow driver has a vehicle on the back of the truck legitimately and the owner shows up, they can charge a drop fee, but only if the tow is legitimate and the vehicle is already hooked.

There's so much missing here - where was his sticker - where was it supposed to be? Are tow jockeys supposed to search all over the car for a sticker before they hook and book?
Correct me if I'm wrong - but aren't most stickers supposed to be in a certain spot/area/window on the vehicle ?

I helped a very nice lady find her car a couple weeks ago - resident parking on the City of Boston (but they don't help people) she didn't know her out of state plate so I callled her hometown PD and got it ( Oh God - a freakin' Prius!!) located the towed report on the BPD website for towed cars, called the company to make sure they had it.. (and BTW - gave the guy info on another car in it's spot with no resident sticker... ) confirmed they had it..
The guy even offered to bring the car back to her (for payment) while he was picking up the other illegally parked mobile.

Not all of them are assholes.

Like anything I am sure there are some good tow companies out there. Small one man operation that handles city tows from Charlestown comes to mind. But too often I have some nut tow jockey beating me to calls with a scanner in his truck thinking we are pals. Not so long ago I had to tell a tow driver to put down a van with special needs kids in it. The Tow driver actually hooked a 14 passenger short bus in the projects after getting in argument over parking in a no parking zone. It was mind blowing.

Glad to see my city isn't the only city with the scanner jockey tow drivers trying to beat us to calls. I had one brain surgeon tow a hearse from the front of a building while they were picking up a deceased person. The tow driver actually got into a fight with the funeral home wanting payment to release the car.

Hmmmm.... when a property owner "hires" a contract tower to tow out illegally parked vehicles, does the company pay the tow operator or do they simply get their money from the towed cars?

Bards - we could use your psycho tow jockey at our local Stop and Shop - seems it's the "local culture" to park in the fire lane.

They get the money from the towed cars.

After watching the video - this pompous jackass put his sticker up in the tinted out part of his windshield - where it can't be seen.

Biondi's leaves much to be desired... but this guy got what he deserved.
