HYANNIS - Three people were arrested Tuesday afternoon after a botched drug deal in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hyannis. According to a Barnstable police release, Barnstable Street Crime Unit (SCU) Officers Scott Wright and Keith Sexton were patrolling the Sea Street area of Hyannis around 2 p.m. Tuesday in an unmarked car and plain clothes when they noticed suspicious activity in the cemetery. As they approached, a woman in a car, later identified as 42-year-old Jody L. Florence-Howes of Falmouth, signaled the undercover officers. When they stopped behind her car, she tried to get into their car, having mistaken the officers for drug dealers. The officers learned that Florence-Howes was waiting for two bags of heroin to be delivered to her in the cemetery. Shortly after, another vehicle, similar in appearance to the SCU vehicle, entered the cemetery. The driver of the second vehicle, 21-year-old Corey A. Pina of Yarmouth, and his passenger, 22-year-old Kiranbir Singh of Centerville, were arrested when the officers found the two bags of heroin in the car. http://www.capecodtoday.com/news/CWN/2012/06/12/three-arrested-in-hyannis-cemetery-heroi Left to right: Jody L.
