Switzerland is offering to "host" the jihadist terrorists? I think that's an excellent idea, and we should agree before they reconsider. There's enough infidels to convert or kill in Switzerland to keep them busy for decades.
Obama to sign order Thursday to close Guantanamo cbc.ca — U.S. President Barack Obama will sign an executive order Thursday to shut down the infamous U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay within a year. A draft of the order was obtained Wednesday by the Associated Press. While the draft was not dated, a senior Obama aide said the president intends to sign the order on Thursday.
One of the most conservative nations (in a relative sense, of course) in Europe, they do have higher per-capita gun ownership than the United States. Never know, maybe they'll use the terrorists for target practice.
This is how it should be the opposite of gun control! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_Switzerland
The swiss have plans to start a new suicide bomber ski team for the next winter olympics. Object is to get to the bottom of the hill and hug a jew or american before blowing up.
Report: Ex-Gitmo detainee joins al-Qaida in Yemen CAIRO, Egypt – An Internet posting purportedly by al-Qaida in Yemen says the group's No. 2 is a Saudi national who is a former Guantanamo detainee. The Yemeni group — known as "al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula" — posted the statement this week on a militant Web site that regularly carries al-Qaida messages. It says the man returned to his home in Saudi Arabia after his release from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba about a year ago and from there went to Yemen to join the terror group. The Internet statement identified the man as Said Ali al-Shihri and says his prisoner number at Guantanamo was 372. The posting could not immediately be verified, and Yemen and Saudi Arabian authorities would not immediately comment on it. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090123/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_yemen_al_qaida
