One year from application/test to academy start? Given we just had a what.... 3? 4? year delay from test to academy start.... I'm thinking RI goes pretty quickly... in comparison !

Similar to RISP but the badge number is farrrr outside a series RISP will ever reach. I imagine, for the Troopers' welfare, they weren't permitted to use a badge number worn by one of their guys.
