Just for general discussion right off the bat anyone know offhand which departments in nh put on a decent number of officer's on when they test. I am not talking about a small town who tests but only hires 1 guy from town a year. I would like to know about agencies who are known to put on a decent amount of officer's. Thanks.

something you might want to look at is the police test offered through Macintosh College. I know Portsmouth and some of the surrounding cities and towns hire off of that test. You can google it and find out all the details. Maybe that will help.

McIntosh is going out of business. Call New Hampshire Tech in Concord to get date for next exams. They test for Merrrimack Valley departments.

McIntosh Police Alliance test will still be offered through this year. They just tested 2 weeks ago and will be offering another exam in June this year. The college isn't expected to close its doors until the end of 2009, of course things could change. I've also heard talk that the exam will still be offered just not under the McIntosh name since the school will be closed, perhaps under the University of New Hampshire name or they might just become their own entity and rent out classrooms at a centrally located high school since it is only a written exam any way. This is all speculation and no confirmation has been released.
