    Carver is using a seven year old car for patrol? I thought my place was bad with four year olds being the newest.

    They do have a few older cars, however, they issue cars to individual officers. They aren't take homes, but they are only used by the assigned officer. I guess it comes down to wanting your own car, or sharing a newer one.
