I applied and didn't hear back. I didn't want the job anyway. Too small, too little pay and I won't give up my residency so the commute would be a killer. Plus, any state that would elect Howard Dean to any office is actually not for me. I mean, THEIR loss, I figured it would be a nice stepping stone to running the State Police, but I'd give them a good two years anyway before moving on. Realistically, you can't take over the FBI until you've been a Col. in a State Police agency for at least 8 months, but I'm not sure that I would want the FBI since they don't have Ch. 90 so maybe I'd stay with the VSP, but it's all for naught now. Their loss.
