    Hi All hospital police officer here and a attorney friend of mine asked me if it was possible to check a persons LTC through NCIC if anyone knows please PM me also is there a seperate database for just LTC that an officer can check thanks and stay safe

    Possible? Yes. Shouldn't you know that already if you are allegedly on a PD?

    {EDIT: Instructions removed. It is a violation of CORI rules to do what the OP is asking. Don't give the instructions here.}

    BUT....is it a good idea for you to do? Absolutely NOT!!!!

    Tell your attorney friend to use his infinite wisdom and resources to find out for himself. It is not worth the trouble it will cause in your life, should you get caught looking it up.

    So, what cop is your "lawyer friend" trying to crucify on the stand? Tell him to go pound sand.

    There is no such animal

    Why would you want to know if someone has an LTC in a hospital setting?

    Providing that information to a "friend" is asking for trouble.....don't do it.

    As a matter of FACT - it's quite a MAJOR violation.

    So, again, what newspaper do you work for ????

    Apparently just looking it up can get your peepee slapped.

    What will you do if it turns out your "lawyer friend" is practicing some shady law. Do you think he'll go down alone ? He'll throw you under the bus and you'll go down with him. I'd tell him that you can't help him, it's the ethical and professional thing to do.

    TO the OP: What you are asking about can and will get you reprimanded / fired / charged. Your "lawyer friend" and you should know better. This thread is closed.
