    You can see both at Battleship Cove.

    Now comes the regular battle between Quincy and Boston about opening Long Island (which is in Quincy but owned by Boston) for people to watch the tall ships.

    You should check out the US Naval Shipbuilding Museum in Quincy, where the USS Salem (the world's only preserved heavy cruiser) is berthed. Unlike the Massachusetts, the Salem hasn't been modified for visitors at all, so you really get a feel for what it was like to serve on her.

    And, Wild Willy's Burgers right down the street is also worth the trip!

    Went in to The Seaport with Jr and the wife on Sun. Great take on the cheap.

    Big thanks to the Trooper and Navy Master @ Arms who assisted me through the security checkpoint to get on the Pier.

    Took the boys and wife on Thurs. nite. Best time to go..no crowds. Took them on the Wasp. 7yr old thought it was pretty cool. Grabbed a senior Chief and used a head in the interior....."dad...um there's no windows"......not a cruise ship....lol
