It sounds like they hire lots of guys from MA, or any state for that matter. I have also noticed by looking through the archives that they take on a variety of people including Veterans, who not all even have a degree. All the Officers I have spoken to from Nashua were professional, and very respectful. I was impressed and just happy to be their. I think you may have gotten bad info my friend.
NPD is a tough department to get on, but their reputation is above reproach. Best of luck to those applying.
LOL, I hear ya on that brother. Lets face it QPD, Nashua, what ever department. There is no perfect Police agency. I bet there are cops in Nashua and every other P.D in the world that would say the same types of things. You just show up, take pride in your job, have some fun, make some money and go home. Its just that simple.
Sgt. Andy is correct....the current incarnation of QPD takes ass-suckery and cronyism to an entirely new stratosphere. In some ways, it's worse than the Crowley-era, just minus people getting suspended and fired every other day. 9 years, 2 months, and 29 days to go........
