THIS IS AN OPEN COMPETITIVE EXAM. SALARYRANGE: $47,365.25 - $52,261.39 DATE OF EXAM June 16, 2012 LOCATION: 334 NAHANT ROAD NAHANTTOWN HALL TIME: 10:00 a.m. REQUIREMENTS: The Nahant Police Department is a Non-Civil Service Department. The requirements are as follows: U.S. Citizen, at least 21 years of age, Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, Possess a valid MA Licenses to Carry a Firearm, Possess a valid MA driver’s licenses. Candidates must have completed BasicReserveAcademy and be capable of passing a physical exam and extensive background investigation. Preference will be awarded to Nahant residents, prior Law Enforcement experience, veterans and candidates who successfully completed a Full Time Police Academy (MPTC or equivalent). Eligible candidates should be EMT certified or must become EMT certified within one year of date of hire.
