You guys are all awesome. The slightly improved, modernized, updated, tweaked, semi-customized, technoidal, and generally wicked-pissa cool (M1911A2 ?) SIDEARM is just that. A sidearm. So while I'm generally as happy as the rest of you, I have to point out that I carried a 1911 and an M-14 (walnut & blue steel) back when I singlehandedly won the cold war. But it was my Trident II ICBM's and MIRV's that actually made my enemies pee themselves... Just saying
Yeah and you really scared the administrators at Massasoit didn't you? How did having SSPO powers work out for ya!?!?
So what you're REALLY saying is that when you were done polishing your torpedo and MIRVs, you also polished your wood stock...and fock SSPO??
When I was in MP School at Fort McClellan, 2 guys in my company who were prior service Navy got recycled back to basic training when it was found out they had never even held an M-16, never mind qualified with one. The first time we were issued our weapons for a field exercise, they were looking at them like a 2nd-grader would look at a Rubik's Cube.....one of the drill sergeants suspected something was afoot, told them to field strip their weapons, and they had no clue.
I'm with Hush for the reasons stated. Yeah, before he and Will proceded to defile a fully-trasferable thing of beauty with aluminum funiture and then drilled and tapped for a scope mount in. I almost cried.
I won't pretend to know as much as the LEO's and military guys on this site, but after my Colt 45 extractor broke for the second time I swapped it for a Sig P220 and never looked back. It was a work of art, but I couldn't depend on it, so it went away. My P220 has never failed to fire or eject in ~15 years of heavy range shooting. Just my .02
Pretty good actually! Since the MSP didn't have the sense to suspend mine, I gave them back to "Itchy Balls" and went back to the Feds!! FUCK SSPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dislike, My dream if I hit the lottery is to have a nice collection of NFA firearms starting with a BAR.
