    Is it normal for the DA's office to be making comments to the press for MV crashes, or should I be reading between the lines?

    A lot of DA's have a policy where an ADA is immediately brought into the investigation when there's a fatal crash, including Norfolk County, so we notify the ADA on-call, and they'll go to the crash scene.

    Same here, could never figure that one out, especially if it is a single car MVC. They usually get in the way of mapping and ask asinine questions. Ever notice that it is either blazing hot and humidity up the ass, or bitter cold when these things happen?

    I'd never shed a tear making them come out at "zero dark thirty" to a crime scene... just maybe THAT will be the case they don't screw up royally.
